Designed as a companion to our Montessori from the Start playgroup, this class represents a slightly lighter playgroup structure, with a focus on the house and home, establishing basic routines to support independence, and a gentle introduction to community membership. Led by Lisa, a Montessori Certified early educator, this class will invite hands on sensory exploration with a variety of bright and inviting materials, and will incorporate elements of guided free play and Reggio project work to complement Montessori work time.

This playdate offers flexible schedule options, with 6, 8 and 10 class packs available for  use throughout the Fall Session.

Montessori From the Start for 20 months – 4 years

Neuleaph Park Place
Thursdays, 4:15 – 6:15 pm
Fall Session runs January 18th – March 22nd
$45/class

Our mixed-age playgroup continues for our third year! Early learners from 20 months – 4 years experience a gentle introduction to the Montessori approach in the comfort and warmth of a home environment. Materials are carefully matched to the developmental level of each child in attendance, and the emergent curriculum is built from children’s interests.

Three week work cycles regularly introduce a fresh array of Montessori materials in all subject areas, Sensorial, Practical Life, Math, Language and Science. A Sensory Motor Area, Block Area and Reggio inspired free play provocations balance Work Time. We provide detailed descriptions of each work cycle as well as photo documentation and a written reflection at the conclusion of each cycle. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their child during phase-in, and we will guide you toward peaceful drop off once your child is ready.
